We are seeking to employ an excellent teacher of Art (KS3/4) to inspire and motivate our wonderful pupils, who can also teach Design Technology (KS3).

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic, well established and vibrant Art and Design Technology department. Pupils are taught one lesson a week (50 mins) at KS3 in Art, and in a rotation system of three lessons a week (2hrs 30 mins) in Design Technology covering food, textiles, graphics and resistant materials. At KS4 pupils receive four lessons a week (3hrs 20 mins). The resources in the department are very good with access to its own computer facilities including CAD and CAM. The department is supported by two technicians. There are challenging schemes of work and rigorous assessment procedures in place, although we welcome new ideas and work closely as a team.
