High Expectations + Challenge = Success
Update following new National Lockdown
Updated: Tuesday 5th January 2021
We have written to parents with details including:
Attendance at school. School is closed to pupils until at least Friday 12th February. In line with government guidance, the only children that will be permitted to attend school are children of critical workers and vulnerable children.
Remote Learning. Pupils will be set work for each of their normal lessons on Satchel:One. In the majority of cases, pupils may also need to use Google Classroom. For help with remote learning, please click here.
Free School Meals. We are currently working with the Local Authority to make vouchers available for those parents, whose children are entitled to FSM. Please expect further contact regarding this over the next few days.
IT Provision. Please let us know if your child is unable to access the work on Satchel:One and we can arrange for a pack of work to be printed for you to collect. If your child has access to the internet, but does not have access to a computer, we may be able to support you with this.
The letter also contains details for the parents of Year 11 pupils, Lateral Flow Testing (LTF) and communication with pupils.

Covid-19
For information about how we are operating as a school, please see our Covid-19 Information.
Dudley is now subject to Tier 4 (Stay at Home) restrictions
When your child attends school, it will be compulsory for them to wear a face covering when moving around the school building. They can be removed in lessons or at lunch time, when seated and eating.
We thank you again for your trust and support in keeping our school community safe.

Everyone has the right to learn
We educate young people to the highest standard to ensure that their potential is realised.
Everyone shows respect for others
We value all pupils equally and constantly promote a sense of purpose, self-confidence and shared values.
Everyone takes responsibility for their actions
We expect hard work and highest standards of attendance, behaviour, punctuality and appearance.
House Point Totals
We're really proud of the achievements from our pupils.
We recognise them through the awarding of Achievement Points and Attitude to Learning Points.
